I want my baby!

We painted the baby room, set up the crib, had some baby showers, I have been sewing baby blankets, we have been to the movies, out to dinner, over to friends to hang out, planted our garden, planted flowers, re-organized closets, got creative cooking dinner, got really creative doing the grocery shopping, visited family, gone on walks, gone on drives, gone swimming, went to the craft store, painted a shelf, watched some great red boxes, shaved my legs haha, got out all my favorite summer time shoes, visited other new babies, tried to stay really busy at work, read some strange pregnancy books, hung out with Shelly (always and adventure), gone to the gas station for 20 thousand fazil Icy's, read everyone's blog 12 times, watched way too much depressing news, looked at old pictures, played my Nintendo DS, taught my sister how to blog haha, complained a lot to everyone I know, complained to everyone i know on facebook, walked up and down the stairs at work a thousand times, talked to my stomach for a few hours trying to convince my princess to come out and play already.

I have lost all of my patients and can hardly fake a smile when someone ask's :
-How much longer do you have, seems like you have been pregnant forever?
-Wow thats a big belly, do you feel like your going to pop?
-You know your life is really about to change right?
-You know its only going to get worse right?
-You know its only going to get bigger right?
-You know your never going to sleep again right?
-Your really big, do they think she is going to be a big baby?
And the best of all.
-How do you FeeL?
I just feel pregnant.
Its not good and its not bad. Im very emotional and way to excited to meet my baby to the point I stay up half the night thinking about what she will look like, how she will sound, how she will make me laugh, and how much fun she will be to play with. I think about all the things I want to teach her and all the things she is going to teach me and Allen. I think about if she will like pink as much as I do, and if she will be just as impatient. I wonder if she will be the opposite of me and be just like her daddy.

I am just ready to meet my baby girl and have run out of distractions. Im not trying to be the crabby pregnant lady, or the huge complainer, I just am.

I know your anxious, but that was such a cute post! It shows how much you just want to be a mom. I'm excited for you! You are going to be such a fun mom!

Oh i love you.
I remember that stage... so many different emotions! And then once you're in the hospital all the sudden you go... am i really ready for this? And then you're pushing, and you're thinking... i really don't have a choice. And then you hear her cry, and you go "ahhh" she's okay, and let me hold her and be with her!

it's just getting to the "ahhhh" part that sucks.

Sadly I can't say I know the feeling because I never got to this point but I can only imagine. Haha

I'm with you, Suze. Forget the pregnancy, just give me the baby! I think the gestation period for humans should be more like 12 weeks, not 40!
