I am THANKFUL

I am thankful for so many things that it has taken me a month to write this post.

Do to the fact that nobody will read this if I go into too much detail you get the short version.

Thank you to all the people who have personally taken their own time to help out me and my family. This year was full of new adventures for us and we received so much help along the way.
One of the biggest helps this year is all of the people helping with Karlee. It kills me everyday to have to leave her. The only thing that has made it possible is knowing that she is being taken care of by such good people.
Thanks again to everyone.

21... and Happy Halloween!

Woot Woot It was my birthday and I turned 21! I feel like I am headed towards entering adult hood. Im definitely not there yet but Im thinking about it. 20 was a big year for me.
-I successfully grew a baby in my belly.
-I held down my child and watched her get a shot and I didnt pass out.
-I worked at the same job all year.
-I re-decorated 2 rooms in my house
-I developed a more grown up palate. (I like broccoli now)
-I started college, again.
-I went to the dentist and had all 10 of my cavities filled.
-I survived the swine flu
-I broke my husbands x-box with my mind.
-I went on a weekend vacation to crystal hot springs and didn't come home with gangrene.
-I slammed on my breaks on the freeway and got rear-ended by three different cars but left with only a scratch and small dent.
-Finally went to IKEA to check out all the hype.
-Learned you could bake chicken in the oven.
-I paid my taxes. May or may not have been the first time ever.
-Went to San Diego With my family
-Went to Lake with my other family
-Went to lava hot springs

Okay so you see it was a big year for me.
I have to say that by far the most exciting and best thing I did in my 20th year was become a mommy. Allen and I have had so much fun with Karlee. I cant imagine life with out Allen and Karlee.

Happy Halloween!!!!!
I think that Halloween is the best Holiday, thats right I said HOLIDAY, Ever.

I made Karlee a flower costume. I love it. She was the cutest flower I have ever seen.
We went trick or treating with my family and then went up to see Grandma and Grandpa Allen. After that we went down to Freemans. After that we went out to dinner with some friends while Karlee slept at my parents house. It was a long but fun day.

4 months

So my last post was right after we went to California for our Bishop family trip. The day after we got home Karlee decided she was going to be a big girl. She has learned new things and is full of new personality. 4 months has been a big step for her.

-The day after we got home she started going to bed at 7:30pm and not waking up until about 8:00 Am. She is the best sleeper. She naps during the day for a couple hours too. Yes, I am loving it and no, I still dont seem to ever get anything done.


-Then one night Karlee totally confused me. It was about 2:30 am and she started to cry a little bit. She had not been waking up at night at all so I went in to check on her and she was naked? Her pj's were in a ball at the bottom of her crib with all her blankets. It took me a minute to figure out what happened. She wiggled out her shoulders then kicked and kicked until they off. Then she was freezing so she cried. So now we try to stick with the zipper pjs instead of snaps lol.

-She thinks I'm really funny. I can tell that she can see a lot better now days because I can be sitting a way from her and she will look over at me, I make a face at her, she thinks its funny so she giggles and smiles back. I love it. Her smile kills me. I know I am her mom and I think she is super cute but seriously, when she smiles I cant help but kiss her cheeks off.


-She hold her head up FINALLY. I dont know if she just has a big head or if she was just being lazy or what. But were good now for the most part.

-She can roll from her back to her belly, but then she just gets really mad cause she wants to be on her back again. We are still practicing that. We have made progress, she doesn't get her arm stuck so much anymore so its a little more fun.


-Karlee has pretty pink earrings! I took her into Mckehl's Salon and she did really good. She was soooo mad at first but then when we took her picture, the flash made her totally forget what just happened and they have not bothered her since. Its been about a week now. So Cute!

She really is such a good sleeper.

-First maybe Second Hair cut.( It looked shorter one day and I wouldn't put it past Shaleen) Karlee has been growing an awesome mullet/rat tail. Sick. Her hair has thinned out a ton and she has a little bald spot in back. But dont worry up front it was like two inches long and in the very back she looks like an old man lol. I trimmed it up a little bit and now we are just hoping the new stuff grows in one day. She may be a little bald but still the cutest baby I have ever seen. Ever.



-Eating Rice Cereal. She is getting pretttty chubby. She gets to have rice cereal in all her bottles to make it thick so she wont puke as much. She loves it. We also have been giving her a little bit with a spoon every once in a while. She thinks that is really funny, and then she gags. So we will keep working on that.



I made a tree for Karlees room. It turned out really cute. I got the idea from a friend.

California Trip Pics!

Bishop Family Trip... San Diego!

This summer has been such a blast, we have had so many fun weekends with family and friends. BBQ's, Fight Night Parties, Camping, Boating, Lava, Karlee's Baby blessing, Birthday parties and more. Last Week we went with Allen's side of the family to San Diego, California. I wasn't worried about flying with Karlee at all, until I started packing. Babies require so much junk that you feel like you are packing up your entire house, and everything is a necessity.
We made it there just fine and so did all of our "Supplies"!
Karlee was a champ on the flight. Actually the plane was full of babies and little kids and all of them were really good.

So we played at the pool and sat on the beach, went shopping at a ridiculously huge mall, ate at the fish house in sea port village, and played and sat around some more. Allen and I decided not to go to Disney Land this year but everyone else went and we missed them. Freeman's brought Karlee back a pooh bear, blanket animal thing. She loves it!

Big Girl...

24th of July

My mom decided she was going to buy a camper trailer last week so we planned a trip to the lake for the 24th of July. My parents got the trailer at Midnight the night before and then we were off. We had an awesome adventure camping with Karlee for the first time and we were so glad to have the trailer to sleep in. We played in the water and ate some delicious kabobs. Karlee looked like a little green monster in her life jacket but she was happy on the boat. However she was not so happy when we put her feet in the cold water. We had lots of fun, thanks mom and dad.
