24th of July

My mom decided she was going to buy a camper trailer last week so we planned a trip to the lake for the 24th of July. My parents got the trailer at Midnight the night before and then we were off. We had an awesome adventure camping with Karlee for the first time and we were so glad to have the trailer to sleep in. We played in the water and ate some delicious kabobs. Karlee looked like a little green monster in her life jacket but she was happy on the boat. However she was not so happy when we put her feet in the cold water. We had lots of fun, thanks mom and dad.

Lava Hot Springs

We went to Lava for a few days with Allen's side of the family. Grandpa Allen was so nice and got us our own studio condo for the weekend. Karlee had her first swimming pool experience and actually did really good. The water was a little cold at first but she warmed up and even started to giggle a little bit.

Karlee's Baby Blessing

Last Sunday we had Karlee's baby blessing at our house. We planned the blessing to have it in our back yard thinking that it was July and the weather is always good in July right? Wrong. For the 10 minutes that we planned to bless her it started raining. It didnt rain long and everything turned out fine but we thought it was kind of funny. Grandpa Allen blessed Karlee and it was really nice. Allen and I are so glad we have family who love us.

Fun Family Filled Fourth of July.

So... I really wanted to get away for the holiday just the three of us. I had a perfect get-away planned to park city where we could just relax in the sun at the pool and have no obligations.

We didn't go.

I was bummed out but we ended up having a lot of fun spending time with family.

On Friday, Karlee and I went to the Children's museum at gateway mall with Brandi and her kids and Shaleen and her kids. We had a fun time. Then we went and had lunch at the food court where Jake and Allen met up with us.










Then ...
All the bishop family girls went out for a girls night and left all the kids and husbands at home. We shopped and went to dinner.

After Dinner Some of my family came to our house and watched the city fireworks from on top of our bomb shelter. We had a perfect view. We don't look real enthused in the picture but we really did have fun.




On Saturday morning we went to the parade and then headed up to the Payne, Goode Family BBQ in the park. It was fun to go and see family that we dont get to see very often. This year there was a carnival at the park so all the little kids got to play with the bunny's and in the big bubble pools. We were so tired from all the fun Allen fell asleep on the grass.















After the park we headed to another BBQ up at Grandpa and Grandma Allen's house.
The day was fun and accident free... but this was Karlee by bed time.





Oh ya .. we got a new puppy too. Her name is Baya
