I know, Its been almost a year.

Well, I am busy.
Which is exactly why I feel the need to make this post.

Sometimes I just feel like life lessons should be taught and given more attention in high school or middle school, or maybe I just should have listened more to my parents when they were talking during those years. I dont really know... (mom this might get good keep reading)

Working a full time job, being a mom, and trying to get an education is hard.
no.
It is soooooooo Hard.
Safe to say it is the Hardest challenge of my life thus far.

I was the biggest complainer when it came to doing school work... (kind of like now.) If only I knew how much easier it was when school was the only thing I had.

Dear single, married or people just starting college,
Finish your degree before you have kids. It is not just a little harder. It's WAY harder. WAY WAY WAY WAY harder. So much harder. Dont tell your self it wont be that big of a deal... other people do it, you can do it too. FINISH school first. Its so hard to have babies and be a student.
Love,
Suzie.. wife, Mother of two, Full time Employee @ WGU, Business Owner, Friend, Daughter.

Dear Students with Kids,
You rock. I DO know how you do it... you work your A** off. You stay up late at night, you miss out on date nights, you sit at your computer all day, you stay inside to study even when its sunny outside, you prioritize and focus on only what is important, you dont get to watch entire seasons of your favorite tv show, you pay babysitters just so you can have some study time, you miss your spouse, you miss your kids, you miss dinner, you learn to study while watching princess movies, you dont throw pitty parties for your self and you just plain suck it up and do work.
I have crazy amounts of respect for people who get through this when they have kids. ( I also understand its hard even when you dont have kids) I hope to be a graduate one day.

Mom,
You are amazing. I think about what your life was like when you went back to school and finished your nursing degree and just wish I was half as amazing as you. You set a great example for me and now I know I have to do the same for my children. Thank you.

and finally...
Dear Me,
Dont quit. Suck it up. People already think your crazy so just keep on keepin on. Even if it takes you 5x longer than it should, don't quit. It will be worth it. Prioritize. Be patient. Get over the sacrifices because things like TV will be there when you are done. Just Do it haha
When you think about quitting, just remember what that says to your babies. That alone should be enough to motivate anyone.

with love,
Suzie
